In the historic centre of Ortygia (Siracusa) is the holiday accomodation Roma, a stylish newly restored apartment in a beautiful Palazzo just a few steps away from the main square. Ideal for a couple wanting a comfortable base close to bars and restaurants in one of the most beautiful towns in Sicily. Siracusa is also an ideal base from wich to explore the south-eastern part of the island.

Turn the corner at the bottom of the cathedral square of Ortygia walk for 200 meters and you find yourself in front of a beautifully restored 18th century Palazzo. Inside, the panoramic lift takes you to the top floor.
Through the door and into the apartment you are greeted by a sunny living space with a fully equipped cooking and dining area, and a sitting area with sofas, tv and hifi. A large window leads out onto a large terrace overlooking a quiet and characteristic backstreet of Ortigia. The bathroom is well appointed with shower, bidet, wc and sink.
The high ceiling of this room have allowed the construction of a large mezzanine level with a very comfortable double bed and another small bathroom. Finally a secondary small bedroom with a single bed is available close to the entrance of the apartment.
The apartment was completely refurbished in 2006.
