The classical performances in Siracusa

Since 5th century BC the greek tragedy was an interesting performance.
This tradition is still supported by the National Institute of Ancient Drama which every year during May and June organizes the classical performances in the picturesque greek theatre of Syracuse.

L'infiorata di Noto

A Noto (patrimonio mondiale dell'Unesco) ogni anno l'ultima settimana di Maggio è dedicata all'infiorata. L'infiorata, organizzata nell'ambito della manifestazione "Primavera Barocca", è uno spettacolare tappeto di petali di fiori allestito nella scenografica via Nicolaci. I riquadri, realizzati con creatività e perizia dagli artisti, propongono di anno in anno motivi diversi: religiosi, mitologici e di cultura popolare.

Tango Festival Syracuse

The Siracusa tango Festival is one of the most popular and attended summer tango events, because it joins a nice stay in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich locations in Sicily, and a opportunity to dance with international dancers. Also the most popular maestros are usually attending this event and spectacular performances take place on every edition in the breathtaking setting of the Maniace Castle.
